Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) is the official officer training program of Toastmasters International, and it is one of the most important events on the District 220 calendar. Here's everything club officers need to know about Summer TLI 2026.
What Is TLI?
TLI is a training event designed for all seven club officer roles: President, VP Education, VP Membership, VP Public Relations, Secretary, Treasurer, and Sergeant-at-Arms. Sessions cover each officer's responsibilities, tools, and best practices for running a great club.
Summer 2026 Schedule
Summer Session A — June 2026 (Virtual, via Zoom) Summer Session B — July 2026 (Hybrid, DC Metro area) Summer Session C — August 2026 (Virtual, via Zoom) All three sessions cover the same core content. Attend whichever session fits your schedule.
Why TLI Counts — The DCP Connection
Clubs that have two or more officers complete an accredited TLI session earn credit toward one of the 10 Distinguished Club Program (DCP) goals. If your club is working toward Distinguished, Select Distinguished, or President's Distinguished status — TLI attendance is a must.
How to Register
Registration for Summer TLI 2026 opens in May. Watch for the official registration link via District 220 email announcements and The Toasty Times newsletter. You can also register at the Events page on this website.
