Beverly Byam-Hercules

Beverly Byam-Hercules, DTM has been a Toastmaster since 2001 and has served in every club officer role, with Vice President Education being her favorite.

Throughout her Toastmasters journey, Beverly has held numerous district leadership positions, including Club Retention Chair, New Club Resource Chair, District Administration Manager, District Finance Manager, and several other key behind-the-scenes roles. She served as Program Quality Director on the 2024–2025 leadership team that guided District 27 to Distinguished District status for the first time in a decade. Most recently, she served as District Director for District 27 during the 2025–2026 Toastmasters year, leading the district to Select Distinguished recognition in its final year before its merger to form District 220.

Professionally, Beverly holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master's Certificate in Health Services Administration. She previously managed a 12-suite operating room at a Level I Trauma Center, bringing exceptional leadership and organizational expertise to both her profession and Toastmasters.

A three-time Distinguished Toastmaster, Beverly is most fulfilled by helping members achieve the communication and leadership goals they set for themselves. Her passion for developing others continues to inspire Toastmasters at every level.
