Andrea Chu

Andrea joined Toastmasters in 2024 and quickly discovered a community that transformed the way she communicates, leads, and learns. A self-described introvert with a passion for continuous learning, she embraced opportunities to grow through public speaking, evaluation, and leadership.

During the 2025–2026 program year, Andrea served as Area Director, supporting clubs in achieving educational and membership goals. She introduced recognition and incentive programs to encourage members to progress in the Toastmasters education program, take on club leadership roles, and celebrate their achievements.

Continuing her leadership journey, Andrea is honored to serve as Division Director this year. She looks forward to empowering members, supporting clubs, and helping every member realize their greatest potential. Outside Toastmasters, Andrea is a PhD candidate in Economics with research interests in international economics, monetary economics, and artificial intelligence.
